The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® hydraulic mounts combine the function of an elastomeric spring and a hydraulic damper in a single unit, providing both effective vibration isolation and improved control of equipment movement.

Their design incorporates a hydraulic fluid whose movement within the mount generates additional damping. This technology allows the stiffness and damping characteristics to be adapted to the dynamic requirements of the application and helps reduce excessive movement, particularly during transient conditions and when passing through resonance.

The internal construction combines metal components bonded to the elastomer, ensuring the integrity of the hydraulic system while providing resistance to high dynamic loads and shocks and maintaining excellent durability.

These mounts are particularly suitable for engines, mobile machinery, generator sets and equipment subjected to vibration, shocks or load variations, where a combination of effective vibration isolation and high damping is required.

The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® SCHR anti-vibration mounts consist of two rubber elements, one of which incorporates an internal metal sleeve to guide the fixing bolt.

The mount is installed directly into a machined hole in the chassis. When tightened, the rubber elements are pre-compressed, with the chassis thickness “T" determining the level of pre-compression and ensuring a stable and secure installation.

Compared with the standard SCH mount, the SCHR incorporates metal reinforcement around the mounting hole, protecting the elastomer against fatigue caused by friction with the chassis. This design improves the durability of the mount, particularly in applications subjected to vibration, shock and repeated dynamic loads.

This characteristic ensures consistent behaviour regardless of the direction of radial forces and makes them particularly suitable for applications subjected to multidirectional loads.
